Griffith's Valuation 1855 for Clare, Ireland. Griffith's Primary Valuation took place throughout Ireland during the middle of the 19th Century and the valuation of Clare was published in 1855. It was a survey of land occupation to determine the amount of tax a landowner or occupier should pay towards the support of the Poor Law System.

Cheshire Births, Marriages and Deaths on the Internet. Recently updated. Records of 2,580,066 births, 883,007 marriages and 1,532,037 deaths. Although the indexes are not yet complete for all years and districts, the database will eventually cover all Cheshire births, marriages and deaths from 1837.
Scottish Emigration Database. The Scottish Emigration Database currently contains the records of over 21,000 passengers who embarked at Glasgow and Greenock for non-European ports between 1 January and 30 April 1923, and at other Scottish ports between 1890 and 1960.

This project seeks to encourage genealogists who possess, or have ready access to, interesting Devon-related books (in particular parish histories) that name lots of individuals, to help provide fully-detailed indexes to these books on the Web.
